Red Dust, Brumby Footprints and Art in the Outback

“Sketching our WKND Warrior Rooftop tent

WKND Warrior Art Impressions

Recently, my dad sent me a picture of a sketch that a friend's young lad had done while they were in the Australian outback on a road trip.

The young lad had brought his sketch pad, a few pencils, and the desire to create, and as they moved through the vast dirt he would quietly fixate on a subject and produce a detailed sketch of his subject.

Engaging in drawing provides us with the opportunity to experiment and explore our emotions and thoughts. It fosters our verbal skills, cultivating our abilities in reading, writing, and speaking. Moreover, it plays a significant role in our internal conversations, helping us navigate conceptual hurdles and find creative solutions.

The family was traveling some 8,000 plus km and were on their way to the Big Red Bash.  I will be watching this young man from the West, there is some young talent already shining through.
