We've rigorously tested the WKND WARRIOR 270 Awning, secured with WKND 316 Stainless Steel bracket, in winds reaching 40 km/h with gusts nearly double that. Surprisingly, we only needed to use one guy rope to feel 100% confident that a sudden gust wouldn't snatch it away. Esperance's winds can get pretty wild.

The externally braced design of this WKND WARRIOR 270 Awning offers an advantage in maximizing your usable shade compared to other 270-degree self-standing awnings available in the market. It's particularly well-suited for wagons and troopys, as it provides considerably more coverage at the rear of the vehicle. This added space is perfect for cooking and accessing your drawers with ease.
Installation.
Comes standard with 4 poles and laser-cut powder-coated mounts to suit most roof racks. Custom-designed WKND 316 Stainless Steel brackets are recommended and can be supplied to further withstand high winds. These mounts are specifically designed to securely attach to robust points on your roof rack, ensuring that even during high winds, the awning won't damage your roof rack.
