How will you use your D-MAX?

The right layout starts with the days you use it for. Tell us what stays aboard, what changes and what you need to reach first.

Mobile work & site visits

Between one job and the next.

Keep site equipment, paperwork and personal gear organised for a day spent moving between locations.

Mountain biking

Pack for the ride and the repairs.

Organise helmets, shoes, tools and spares so the gear you need before and after a ride is easy to find.

Caravan travel

The ute has a job too.

Plan the gear you want in the vehicle separately from what lives in the caravan, especially the things you use between camps.

03 / Before we design

Good decisions start with the details.

  • Your existing equipmentFridge dimensions, tools, camping gear and accessories you want to retain.
  • Your complete vehicle setupCab type, modifications, planned load and how the canopy fits into the wider build.
  • Your everyday routineWhat you use first, what needs to stay accessible and whether you need the tray without the canopy.
04 / D-MAX questions

Good things
to know.

See how the build process works ↗
How do I choose between chassis mount and canopy & tray?

Think about whether you need to use the tray without the canopy, what you carry and how you use the vehicle. We’ll talk through the two arrangements and help you work out a starting point.

Can the drawers be arranged around my tools and gear?

Tell us what you carry, what needs to stay separate and what you reach for most often. Those details help shape the drawer layout and access points.

Can I plan for accessories I might add later?

Tell us what you are considering before the design is finalised. We can discuss whether space or mounting provisions should be considered now. Future additions still need their own compatibility check.

Can I choose the canopy finish and colour?

Powder-coat finishes and colour-matching options can be discussed for your build. Tell us the look you want, and we’ll confirm the finish options available for the proposed setup.

Can I use the same D-MAX for work and touring?

Both uses can shape the design. Tell us what stays in the vehicle and what changes between jobs and trips, so we can plan the storage and access around that mix.
